So recently, I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect eyeliner that can help me achieve the sharpest, most perfect winged eyeliner. I remembered that I had tried this eyeliner a few years ago (back when I wasn’t going for the winged look) and loved it, so I thought I’d give it a try.
Overall, the eyeliner itself is a great one. I think the product itself makes some big claims and it definitely walks the talk. It’s a long wearing eyeliner, smudge-proof and has intense pigmentation. Seriously, there are very few eyeliners out there that have the kind of color payoff and long-wear that this eyeliner. I think the biggest advantage (in the summer, specifically) is that most eyeliners usually smudges or runs throughout the day in intense heat/humidity, but not this eyeliner. I’ve been on 14 hours flights with this eyeliner and it. does. not. budge.
However, when it comes to achieving the perfect, sharp winged eyeliner, this one falls short. I definitely wouldn’t recommend using the brush that it comes with for a wing because it’s not very sharp and somewhat looks messy. I’ve tried using this eyeliner with different angled brushes to see if it made a difference, and yes, it definitely did improve the application but I’m still not crazy about it. Another disadvantage of this eyeliner is that while it comes with a lot of product, it dries out really fast so you end up needing to buy a new eyeliner before this one even finishes.
– smudge/waterproof – quickly dries out
– long wearing – not great for winged eyeliner
– intense pigmentation
– comes with a brush
– easy application
– great for tight lining and waterline
